Amlifier with a alpine cdm 7833............

Anybody can tell me how would i cone`ct my amp to this head unit, i had many stereos instaled in my car but they all had rca outputs.....this one doesnt, so please if anybody knows let me know, thank you!!!!!!

cmon people, somebody must know what i am talking about........i realy need to know how to hook up a amp on this unit ...........alpine cdm 7833, if posible atall...............thank you anyway,............

Try to splice the speaker wires into the end of rca cables

What would be a new direct replacement so I don't need to rewire. Old radio Alpine CDM-7833

Alpine changes their wire harness every couple years, you will have to rewire for a new radio but all the colors will be the same.

How to set the time on alpine cdm 7833

I found the users guide on Alpine-usa.com

The manual is for several models, the CDM-7833 is one of them.

It is her if you would like a copy;

To set the time;

Press and hold CLK button for 3 seconds

While flashing, use the H and M buttons to adjust the time setting(s).

The time will be saved 5 seconds after a button is pressed.

no you can't. i bought one from ebay b/c the guy said it would work but it didn't. after some research- i found the 7833/7835 will not accept anything through the DIN except the CD carriage.

No backlight on a cdm-7834

The only possible installation problem could be the illumination wire on the head unit. If this is hooked to a 12 lead it would dim the backlight. Try disconnecting the orange wire if it has one(I'm not sure if the 7834 had a dimmer lead). If that doesn't fix it the head unit will have to be serviced.
