Just to Let you Know I have my own TV repair Shop and I charge a 125.00 CK out FEE so your $3.00 isnt even worth my time or trouble I do this work here because their is people who do appreicate the help and cannot afford to pay a Shop for repair or FREE ADVICE. Why dont you just Call the company who makes your TV!

You have to use the the screw size of 4mm x 16mm (M4x16) for connecting your olevia 542B TV.

Normally there is a wall mount and then a bracket that is bolted to the back of the tv. The bolts that fasten the stand to the tv that must be removed are usually the same ones that fit the bracket. Have you tried those?

Please advise if you have actually installed an Olevia 542 to wall brackets. The bracket came w/ three types of screws - metric 5 & 6 - course pitch. The 6 is too big and the 5 is too small (or the pitch is wrong). The 3rd set is way too small.
Your advice really isn't any help, but if you can advise the exact screws that fit, fine. Otherwise, I will request another expert.
I need an expert who knows or can find out the exact screw size and pitch to hang an Olevia 542 LCD on the wall. The screw holes appear off standard.
Not even close. M6 is slightly too large and M5 is slightly too small. M4 is the one I already ahve that is way too small. Where are you getting your information?
