Mmc not accessible in messaging option,elsewhere accessible

Nokia C3 cell phone is a good phone from the Nokia Corporation.

If you want to save the messages in memory card then you have to perform the following steps:

Go to Messaging menu

Move the cursor on Inbox

Go to inbox options

Choose settings

You will find the option other

In other option you will find Memory in use option

Choose the memory card memory.

Then you are able to save the messages in your sd card.

In nokia 3230 you cannot save the messages to memory card.You dont have option in this mobile itself.

Dont worry, please download MSV driveE software in your mobile phone so that messages can been directly saved in MMC.

Download the MSV software from below website

After you downloaded it, you’ll find that you save file named MsvDriveE.jpg. Don’t worry! You just downloaded the right file. Rename the extention *.jpg, and change it to *.sis. Then you’ll get MsvDriveE.sis then install it to your phones.

But in this feature it just saves the incoming messages to the memory card instead of saving it to phone memory to keep the phone memory unused.But you cannot read your messages.

To read your saved messages in PC please install a software called as FE explorer.

Using this FE explorer you can copy the messages in your inbox and you can paste in any of the folder in memory card.Then you can open the messages in your computer using Note Pad and read the messages.

To copy please follow the below steps,

1.Select inbox from the main page in FE explorer.
It shows the messages in Your inbox,sent item,saved messages also.

2.Copy it and Paste where ever you want to copy in E:/ drive(Memory card)

3.Then you can put your memory card in your PC and can open up the messages in Note Pad Thank you

You should first delete files in your phone gallery manually before you go to your inbox. Delete pictures,videos or something that you don't need in your phone memory. Restart your phone to refresh the system.

Your memory card could be corrupt.

If you have a PC Suite for your phone then try to access other details from your memory card through your computer.

If you cant view your items in the memory card from the PC Suite then obviously the memory card is corrupt.

Reformatting your memory would restore it back to normal.

use ur phone setting and make the primary memory aur mmc then transfer all ur data to. ur msg are on sim not on phoone. u have to save them 1st.

if ur memory card have erased only messages but not other mp3s and videos, etc. I have got the solution for it.
Go to messages, click options, and go to settings. Go to "other" option, there is a menu memory in use. In that change phone memory to ur MMC.
Then ur messages will appear in ur inbox.

first foramt your phone memory .
After deleting all mess. from ur inbox[phone memory] go to inbox options and select settings then others then chage ur mess memory to mmc.

it will definately work..

i think the MMC card is the prob' try to format it first, if you still having the same prob.
try to change MMC....

wipe your MMC card metal contacts carefully and insert it again, this happen beacause your mobile cant able to detect MMC from tour phone one big reason behind that is there is thin layer beatween MMC metal contact and phone cocnnectors contacts. so wipe that metal contacts of MMC and your problem will solved.
