I guess you have to decide whether it is worth it to you to replace the battery or get a new compressor altogether. I recently replaced my battery with a 12V 7.2AH Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Battery. Pretty much the kind used for computer battery backups (UPS). There are plenty to choose from under $20 at Amazon and eBay. Just copy the bolded text above and perform a search.
There is good news and bad news concerning a replacement battery for this particular model light. The good news is that a suitable, but not exact, replacement will be available at Battery Mart on November 30, 2010. I purchased about a dozen of these lights in 2006 and have had them in storage since. No one can or will be more unhappy than I should all of them need new batteries.
