However it doesn't include counter reset instructions that I could find!
I didn't find specific 327 instructions, but here are 3 different procedures for other units: Turn the power off but keep pluged in. Press the buttons on the control panel in the sequence as below.
Press "Up Arrow", Press "Down Arrow", Press "Left Arrow", Press "Right Arrow", Press "Menu", Press "Enter".
Lamp time will be initialized

If you do not have a remote here is how to reset the filter time. Use the "Menu" bottun to get the "easy menu" to display. Push the down arrow until you get to "Filter Time," then push and hold the RIGHT arrow to reset the filter time. DO NOT try to reset using the "Reset" option on the easy menu, it will not work.

I unplug my cord, waited for 5 minutes, then reconnect cord holding the power button at same time, released, then proceded with input, left arrow, enter, right arrow and depress power button again holding for 15 seconds, then released. projector warmed up showing the "0000H" on the bottom left of screen...that's how mine worked today.
If/when you get it to work, please post back via comment to original question.
Ensure a video source is connected to the projector (VGA, DVD, etc)
Unplug the projector to make sure it has completely shut down (not just went into sleep mode)
Plug in power and power on the projector (make sure video source is on first)
The projector should turn on and switch to the video source (manually select if not)
Once you can see the video source, push menu and turn off auto-off.
Auto-off should only work when the projector detect a video source is no longer present on the selected input. So if you are turning on the projector with no video source connected, it will usually turn off shortly after being turned on.

I just wanted to clarify a few things,
The initialize procedure is:
power on projector
press enter
turn off the projector by pressing
unplug the projector
plug the projector back in
Once the projector has been initialized the factory password is:
"up - right - down - down - left - up - right - down - left" and hit enter
This will allow to then enter in a new password
I hope this helps,

hi,
You have to check the bulb first. Its not the matter of how many hours you have used it. just check the lamp. may be it burned out. Its only a bulb it can burnout at any time. also check the lamp colling fan is working or not. if it is not working the same problem can occur.
ok
I've had the same problem with my projector three times (usually whenever there's a sports championship). You just need to call optoma, get an RMA number, and ship it to them. Theoretically they'll fix it under warranty and send it back free.
Either your lamp is burned out or you had it unplugged for a while.
If you have had it unplugged for a while, plug it in, make sure the yellow power light is on, then wait for about an hour. Don't repeatly try to turn it on in the meantime. After about an hour or two plugged in,,,,, it should power up. Then reset your lamp timer through the menu.
do help me in this issue as it was working fine and all of a sudden i am facing this problem. thanks
