SIR/MAM. WHEN EVER I USE MY CAMCORDER GR-DVX9 THE ZOOM AUTOMATICALLY GOES TO 200x AND AFTER THAT THE ZOOM BUTTON STOP WORKING IN SHOTING MODE . AND IN OTHER MODES IT COME TO 10 X AND SIMELLERLY THE ZOOM BUTTON STOPS WORK MEANS NOT WORKING. PLEASE SOLVE MY PROBLEM. AS I UNDERSTAND ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND THE CAMCORDER LANGUAGE IS IN JAPNES

Unfortunately this is a repair issue. There are several failures that can occur, none of which will be resolved without service, that create this safeguard situation. Often the fpc cable which carries sensor information to the micro has been injured and that requires repair. Good luck, magic seadog

What you need is a VHS C adaptor. I did a Google search and found at least 10 sites selling them. Rather than cut and paste, I suggest you go to Google and type in "VHS C Adaptor".

thats a hardware problem .u must to open that camera and remove mechanisum u can c there is a small board behind that mechanisum .remove that board and c there is rubeer which connec to caption motor . that u put right condition than it will work
