Google the web site, enter make and model of the cam . you should be able to download a driver from there , windows 7 comes in 32 or 64 bit versions , enter witch one you have.
Since it is a smaller brand it may not have a driver for it, for use under windows 7. I personally use DriverMax (Free account) to hunt for drivers I cannot find.It only allows 2 driver downloads per day in the free version. If you have the exact model number I can try to hunt for a driver for it.
hi this may be a general problem if u have internet connected to ur system just click on the properties button as soon as u connect ur cam and select the drivers tab and update ur driver may be ur cam is meant for xp,vista if its given recommended for xp,vista,7 in ur cam cover box the surely insert the cd that came along with the cam and install the cam driver specified for windows 7 or else update ur driver as i have recommended.was this useful to u.

Your description is kind of confusing. are you running windows xp or windows 7? Your best bet would be to download the drivers and software for windows 7 from the camera's manufacturer website.
XP allows you to change the settings to use the cam. Now windows 7 may not support your video camera. The best thing to do is go to microsoft website and see why windows 7 does not support your video. How old is the cam?
