Timer keeps beeping and shows f1 code - Amana ACS7270AS Electric Kitchen Range

Oven keeps beeping:
As there is no reprogramming of most control boards try this, disconnect the power and wait 30 seconds and then reconnecting the power.

If it's an "F1" fault code this generally implies an electronic oven control (EOC) failure. Disconnect the power, wait 30 seconds or longer and then reapply power. If "F1" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control.
The oven control can be accessed and replaced from the rear of the control panel.

NOTE:Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the console.

now days the timers ar all solid state , to me sounds like a timer failure or main controll board and timer

the F1 code is usually an internal failure of the control board. it may have a failed oven sensor that is causing the control to think it is over temp and the sensor is alot cheaper to replace first, usually about 50 bucks. to replace the control board will usually cost about 150-200 bucks. but try the sensor first.

I think f1 is a problem with the oven control board. Look on the back of the oven for a tech sheet and it will tell you what the codes mean and what to check.

crys, the tech sheet for your model states that you need to replace the electronic control (clock) when this error is flashing. Catriver..post back.
