Turn off the power to the oven. Remove the oven racks. Unscrew the element retaining screws on the rear wall. Carefully pull the terminals out of the back wall of the oven. Remove the wires. Place the wires on the new element, slide it into the opening, tighten the screws, replace the racks, turn on the power.

Where do I locate the fuse for GE Profile electric range Model J BP79 A0B2AA?

The fuse for a GE Profile electric range model JBP79A0B2AA is usually located behind the control panel, near the power cord. You may need to use a putty knife or thin flathead screwdriver to gently pry the control panel away from the wall before accessing the fuse.

I was heating my electric oven when one of the filaments popped and stopped glowing. now the oven won't get hot (enough) and i want to know if i can replace it myself or if i have to wait for my lazy...

You can DIY. The element will be about $40.00. Turn the power off to the range. Unscrew the element and pull it out carefully. Remove the wires. Reverse this order to re-install the new element.
Turn the range back on and bake me a cake.

Only one ring of the double ring element works

You have faulty regulator, or the element is faulty., not sure how you access the inside.
