The main board may have problem. You need a new board to replace.

This is common problem of the 46" LCD. The power supply board has caps defective. You can open the case, look for the power supply. Normally, you will see the two small caps pop up. Replaced those caps, the TV may work again. If it does not work, those FET transistor in the board have been damage. You have to replace the whole board. The board cost $150 or so. The power supply board have dead capacitors are very common problems in LCD,Plasma tvs in used of 1,2 max 3 years.The power supply board is the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Searches all around the power supply board for these dead capacitors,it alway bulges up it tops or puff up it tops.Replaced these dead leskages capactors.Or tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
