removing cmos battery doesnt work no matter how long you leave cmos battery out been there done that , you have to locate cmos jumper on motherboard , remove main battery & memory cards , peel back clearish foil on motherboard near where memory cards install , should see jumper points on motherboard , take bread tie touch jumper contact leave main battery out stand up like book plug in power adapter , and turn on only until boot screen then shut-off , install memory card , remove jumper and try starting laptop , if it hasnt cleared password , remove memory cards and try jumping it again

OK, wait just a minute. You're telling me that you took the laptop apart to get to the CMOS Battery (which is on the motherboard), put it back together and have been doing this process with the cmos battery in and out? Are you sure you don't mean the battery that is on the bottom of the laptop?

If it boots with the cmos battery out that means you have to go into setup and set the date and time and possibly some other parameters every time because that little batter controls the computer's memory.

There's no way that we can determine the BIOS password of your laptop. But if you can disassemble your laptop and locate the CMOS battery you can remove the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS together with the password. After resetting the CMOS battery you will no longer be asked to enter a password for the BIOS when you turn on your computer. However, there are instances that even though you reset the CMOS it's still asking for the password, for this concern, the computer manufacturer should deal with this concern.

Actually you can clear the BIOS password by resetting the CMOS jamper. If you are familiar with CMOS jamper it is easy for you. Open your laptop with the use of screw driver. Once you are already open it locate the CMOS jamper near the CMOS battery at the south bridge of your laptop motherboard.
