Need to reinstall brother hl 5240 printer

please reinstall the printer.. But before that just uninstall the printer completely from the pc.. Then unplug it from all connections.. Then power off the printer for 30 minutes.. It will reset the printer.. Then replug the printer.. and download the latest driver of the printer from the following link..

Just search for your model number..

After finding the driver for your printer.. just reinstall a fresh copy of the printer.. Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

You need to re-install drivers of the printer. also check the USB cable.

Hello sir; when you put the new toner in did you remove the seal tape ?

Try to do alignment for the printer.........
if you do am allow it to restart and check if it print

try the internet and search the brother website for the Drivers for your printer

You will get the drivers and then download the drivers
they will work just fine

Any good USB cable will work. There is a note, however in the user guide that it should not be longer than 6 feet. (1.85M)

The drum light will flash on my brother HL-5240 Laser Printer when printing but it continues to print just fine. Does this mean the drum needs to be replaced?

Right Click on My Computer, and select Manage. Look at Device Manager and look for any yellow exclamation marks. It may not be installed.
