Most likely the lower y-buffer board which is mounted to the left of the panel in the back of the TV is bad. I believe you can get LG equivalents for these boards. There should be part numbers on the board itself..

When printing my emails I only get only half the message, top part and the bottom half is blank.

Depending on which email service you are using, I.E. Hotmail, you may only be getting a screen shot of the email. In other words it will only show exactly what your seeing on your screen if you simply right click and print. Hotmail has a little ACTIONS with a downward pointing arrow on the right side of your screen. Click that and select print and it will print the actual message instead of a screen shot of the message. I have to assume other email servers use similar techniques to print the actual emails instead of just screen shots. Hope this helps.

Vizio half of screen is solid color bars. Top half works great.

You have either the circuit board that drives that half of the screen(one for top and another for the bottom) or you have a bad display panel.

Blank top screen

This is one of those things that I regret to say but the only way to repair this would be to order a new Flex cable. the flex cable is a small flat ribbon cable that connects the bottom half with the top half. It would be easer to replace the entire thing instead of just the ribbon cable
