If I purchase goods through my Pay Pal account and then, on receipt of the goods find they are not to my liking and return them - the supplieir will refund my Pay Pal account-am I correct? If this happens how do I get the money back? The reason I ask is that I am contemplating purchasing a costly item on line and if I return it I would want my money back, not frozen in my Pay Pal account. Please advise me -thanks, Philip Jackson

I would recommend using a credit card that way it is easier to obtain a refund through your bank than it would be via paypal. Be very careful using paypal i have had them rip my off charging my credit card and i am not even a member!! At least it was very easy to get my money back and my bank suggested i get a direct debit credit card and have a zero balance only putting funds into that card when i want to make a purchase. Desputing funds through the bank is a simple and relatively quick process but paypal a gamble indeed. Hope i helped.
