SLOW phone!? Suddenly my RIZR is running with a BAD lag when I push any buttons. I have reset all the Master settings, and tried turning it on and off. I don' t know much about the technicalities of this phone, I just want it fixed! The screen won't time out either.

Before you try any of the steps / Methods provided below try this: Turn OFF power saving mode when charging. This is not mentioned anywhere online or in the user manual but works like a magic to resolve slow charging issues. If you still face the issue try various solutions here under.

Method 2 Sometime slow charging issue on android devices occurs because of some software. So uninstall theunwanted software from your phone and then see if the problem is resolved or not. Another thing youcan do is master reset.
To master reset your phone, the steps you need to perform are Cache partition, Master reset and Safemode.
Cache partition- When you are facing slow charging issue on your Samsung Galaxy S3 you need to clearthe cache partition. It will clear different parts of your phone storage but will not delete any personaldata. To clean cache partition, turn off your phone and press the home key, power key and volume upkey altogether. When the phone starts vibrating, release the power key but keep holding volume up andhome keys. When you see the Android System Recovery screen, release both the keys. Now forhighlighting "wipe cache partition" press the volume down key. Select the option by holding power keyand wipe the cache. Highlight "Reboot system now" and press power key to restart the phone.

Safe Mode- Safe mode allows you to turn on your Samsung Galaxy S3 by disabling the third party apps.Then you can uninstall the apps that may be creating the Slow Charging Problem. To turn on the safe mode turn off your phone, then hold the power key. When you see "Samsung GalaxyIII" on the screen, release the power key and hold the volume down key.Keep on holding the key untilthe phone restarts. At the bottom corner of the screen, "safe mode" will appear and now release thekey.
Then uninstall the third party apps by going Menu> Settings> More> Application managers,Downloaded> tap the preferred application, then tap uninstall> Ok.
Then turn off safe mode by pressing and holding the power key> restart> Ok.

Remove the Battery from your Android

1. Plug in original charger into your android without the battery inserted, VIA Power Supply .
2. Leave it there plugged in for 30 Mins.
3. After, insert the battery without removing the charger
4. Let it charge to 100%
5. When the battery is fully charged. Remove the charger
6. Let your phone drains to 0%(Discharge) ( Do intensive CPU usage tasks, Playing games, streaming videos etc.)
7. Repeat these step twice.
8. The battery will subsequently receives it's charging cycle.
9. By performing this every 3 times in per 6 months will keep your battery in good standing.

This is caused as a result of trying to run too many programs at once or maybe your memory is almost full

Try freeing up some disk space on your phone by deleting some unnecessary files on your phone.

If your phone is still slow then you should do a master reset (this will delete all the files on your phone and restore your phone to its original factory settings) so make sure you back up your files


This is how to do a master reset

Go to settings on your phone menu

Scroll to "reset settings" and click on it

Enter the password and press "Enter." The default password is 00000000.

Click "yes" and your phone will reset..

For me, Motokit, PTS, and the reset of the tools could not reset my phone. Here's how I reset my phone with just the phone keboard.
This will reset all your menus. On my Verizon Razr V3m phone, my contact and my picture gallery were not affected. (Make sure you key the command in exactly. 18*1 is Master Clear, and you don't want do to that.
From your phone, enter this sequence to go into OPCODE mode fairly quickly:
Press CLR then
048263*
This puts you in OPCODE mode, where you can enter special commands. Be CAREFUL here.
Enter a the code for a Master Reset command:
18*0
Press the middle navigation button.
Wait. The screen should show "SUCCESS" after a few seconds.
Push the LEFT soft key (back). You'll be back at the OPCODE screen.
Push the RIGHT soft key (options). Push this button again to select Cancel Entry (the only option).
This gets you out of OPCODE and back to where you started. You might have to push CLR a few times to clear the number you entered to get into OPCODE mode.

I'm not sure if there is a VHS menu on normal firmware, but if your running custom most likely the problem is your last update. Here is how to fix:
Click Select->Select CPU Clock XMB->Toggle To Default->Exit Menu

Because your PSP is running on something like 20/10 and lagging real bad it may freeze when you open the menu, if so turn your PSP off by holding the power button up and forcing the shutdown, keep trying until you can get the menu working. It will also not respond to your commands properly, when you click down it will move through like 3 options because of the lag, be patient wait till it lands on CPU Clock XMB and follow the instructions.
