I need a program disc for a hp photosmart C5280 all-in-one machine. I have a new computer and need to hook-up the copier etc. Is there one avalible and what is the cost.

HP C5280 all in one prints but does not scan
2 ways to scan from HP printers

First* try from "my computer" ... near the bottom of the page you should see "scanners" in there, try clicking that and follow prompts

Second* go to start/ programs/ HP/ HP Solution Center
all scanning choices should be on the left

How to fax with a HP C5280
It does not fax, not a fax machine (my dad made the same mistake) but you can scan to your computer and fax with efax or another third party.

Download the software from here

Click start, run and type msiexec/unregister click ok

Click start, run and type msiexec/regserver click ok

Install the software and you should be fine.

C5280 won,t print
I had a problem with my C5280 installing another copy of itself when I restarted my computer. Check to see that you don't have multiple copies installed and are possibly trying to print to the wrong one.
