In bios set first boot device hdd, disable lan boot rom and after login in run wirte msconfig and disable all unwanted programs from startup.. i will surely increase system speed

uninstall the driver and restart the laptop again
hopefully windows will find new device and reload the touchpad correctly
TRy plugging in an external USB mouse. If the mouse is OK then the touch pad has failed. Check the touch pad driver in the control panel then Device manager. Hope this helps.
