Unless you have the part in hand, which you could take to a specialized machinery or spring supplier to see if they could match it up, the only other way to get the correct part is to contact ryobi direct and talk to their parts department. They will be able to tell you the part number, and if available, send you one out direct from their warehouses.

Not sure if you ever found the manual for this model number. I just picked one up at a garage sale last weekend and it actualy had the manual with it. Doesn't really go into any overhaul of the machine, but does have a exploded view of the parts.

Hello Jo Ray. The chuck is friction fit. To reinstall it you may need an assistant. Put the chuck on the spindle, have your assistant hold it while you hit it using a block of wood against the chuck and a hammer. A couple of good blows and the chuck will be installed.
