Bought brand new for nursing school never worked company that sold it to me went bankrupt is there a way to reformat or something to start on a clean slate beyond just a hard reset?

Find a school that you want to apply to. Check with the admissions office for applications and necessary paperwork. Sometimes nursing schools within a college have their own application and selection process. Research the course work and get an idea of what is involved.
My mom went back to school in her mid-40s and became a nurse. She worked for 20 yrs and loved it. Good luck.

Try ebay...I have found a lot of parts for my troy bilt chipper shredder on there. Sometimes you can also find a local dealer who might have parts laying around also.

It sounds like you have a hose problem. You should be aware that the Fantom company went bankrupt many years ago. I know that the Fantom name was bought by another company and there may be Chinese units sold under that name, but service and parts availability is an issue. There may be an issue with the power delivery to the powerhead. This is through the hose, from the canister connection and down the wand assy. You should check the continuity from the canister down to the powerhead.
