Sounds like someone rolled over on the remote. if you have cable or a dish, the tv channel must be left on a specific station at all times. no matter what channel is on the cable, the television itself must be on the correct channel number in order to receive he signal from the cable company. try hitting the last channel recall button on the tv, not the cable. otherwise try channel 3 or 4 or sometimes 60 on the tv. good luck

REPLACE THE LAMP IT IS LOCATED IN THE BACK OF THE TV THERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE OWNERS MANUAL FOR REPLACEMENT IT IS CONSIDERED CUSTOMER REPLACEABLE ITEM.

power pack capacitors have failed they will need to be replaced with new ones and that should repair the tv, soldering skill is required to do this or replacement of the entire power pack. hope this helps
