In the bottom of dishwasher, there's a screen is that screen supposed to be tight or lose?

humming can be the motors or the rubber supports are lose happens as the devices get older, if its annoying you just need to go round re tightening the screws and bolts so they tight again. can also be that the washer is not level and use will drop it down and need releverling and screwing the screws down tight.

You have two issues, the first being that there is a GASKET failure or a sump hose or drain pump leak. Check this out with a good light beneath the machine.
Secondly the program controller switch is too tight and so needs this leverage, use some light oil to make this action smooth. If not the multi-switch is faulty.

Sometimes you just have to pull the fitting back out, and start again. That's about where we are now. Shut the water off, disconnect the supply line and remove the fitting from the dishwasher. Clean the old teflon off of the fitting and the connection on the dishwasher. While holding the fitting in your left hand, with the threads facing right, wrap the threads, going over the top away from you, three wraps.
Then re-install. Too loose would be movable by hand, and too tight would be approaching "I can't go any further". Somewhere in between, there's a point where the fitting gets firm, and you can feel that it's getting tighter. At that point, get it into the correct position for installing your supply line. What you don't want is to have to make nearly another full rotation of the fitting to get it into position if it's nearly there before that. You don't want it so tight that you might crack the fitting or the connection on the dishwasher. Just take your time, work by feel, and gauge where the fitting needs to be, balanced against how tight you want it.

My wife had the same problem which was fixed by changing detergent and appeared to be caused by hard water. Make sure the screen/filter in the bottom area is clean. It may help to run an empty cycle with detergent and white vinegar to remove hard water deposits from the screen/filter. Hope this helps!

ck the float it may be comming under the door . if water is still in tank after cycle / clean the screen in the bottom it is a lift out basket . ck for resstriction in drain line . all of thes will cause over fill and flooding . your model may have a pressure sw . sometimes food gets in the air line / remove tube and blow out .. mm

1. Check the spray arm for damage and obstructions
   
2. Check the inlet filter screens
   
3. Test the water inlet valve
   
4. Check the motor and mounts
   
5. Check the fan motor and blade
   
6. Check the drain for obstructions
