If i have new fully charged batteries, what is the range of the chair?

That is a hard question to answer. Your range of distance can differ due to terrain. If you are riding the chair around the mall you might get 5-7 miles. If you are riding it on a sidewalk you might get 3-5 miles. If you ride it in the grass you might get 1 mile. The best answer I can give you is that most people can go 1-3 days between charges. You also have to consider your weight. If you are 100 lbs or 350 lbs. there are always factors. Since the chair does not measure distance it would be unfair to give you a number based on distance to gauge your battery life. You need to watch the battery gauge and determine what your chair is able to do.

Pride JET 3 Ultra power wheelchair. Problem: Batteries drain very fast after recommended charge. Things I have done: Replaced both batteries- twice; Replace On-board charger. Both items brand new. ...

check the motor brushes if they are 1/4 inch or less replace them. Next, after driving the chair for a while check the motor casing near the brake assemblies on the rear of each motor if the casing is hot then you have a sticking brake pad or pads and this can cause the excess battery drain. If you have sticking brake or brakes unfortunately the whole motor assembly will have to be changed Hope this helps

Mark Batteries your charger is putting our enuf 13.15 volts for each battery so after charging all night you should be reading about 13 volts on each. If your batts are only 12 volts after all night charge then batteries are weak Hope this helps

Yep u need 2 U1 batteries. Check in your area for a battery warehouse type store or an Interstate battery store they can get the U1 s you need and might have them in stock. Try to avoid going to a provider as they will charge you alot more than the battery stores Hope this helps you

I have a quatum 610 power chair when i use it the batterys (new) discharge fast i get about 2 miles per charge it makes a clicking noise but not all the time and even makes the clicking noise after its...

It is not shutting off. You need to bring it to an expert for service. Your problem sounds like it is electronic, not mechanical.

To stop it from discharging you can disconnect the batteries. The batteries should be hooked up in series 24vdc not parallel 12vdc.
