Hello there, most mp3 players are made such that they are meant to render files which are not too large usually below 10MB this is mostly because most audio files do not exceed this size. Certain MP3 players have restrictions on audiobooks and the sort especially when the size is large. If this is the problem then most likely the only fix you can get is to compress the file to a smaller size.
Also the file could have copyright protection therefore when you transfer from one device to another forcefully it would refuse to play. Copyright protection can raise up all sorts of error messages which include unsupported format messages, this does not have any fix.
Finally what i would advice you do is get an audio converter program and comvert the file from WMA to MP3 which is a more universally accepted audio file format. This is because WMA comes with a variety of user codecs. If after converting the file it still does not work then the problem is one of the above mentioned. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hope this support has been helpful?
