Leak in the front of wahing machine one of the hose how do we get to the hose

Older maytags were equipped with an "air-gap" that can leak if the rubber sleeve part of it gets too stiff and cannot flex. It is along the left hand side of the machine fastened by a 5/16" screw between the machine cabinet and the upper panel... Maytag Injector Tube 12001677
If you remove the front panel and set the machine to fill, you should see water dripping off of the plastic frame the injector is sitting in.

Please check the bottom side of the washer and see if there is leak on the drain valve/pump or the hose of the outlet. The most important is the first hand information from your observation.
There can also be a leak from overflowing or a leak from the tub.
Once confirmed then the leak can be confirmed by replacement of the valve/pump or the hose.
If not the estimation must be thought of before you proceed.

A washer that leaks only during the spin and drain cycle often has a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find. Alternatively, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. This may be most visible during large loads and high water levels. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair to make.

First make sure your machine is absolutely level. Purchase a good level from a hardware store and have a helper adust the feet on the bottom of the machine. You may also consider purchasing vibration pads if the machine keeps moving when it is on.

Next inspect the gasket carefully for any worn areas. If anything looks suspect replace the gasket. Remember the gasket will leak the first time if you have not used in a while. It expands after use.

Check the water hoses comining in and leaving the wahing machine. Use your finger to follow the water trail back. Make sure your machine is unplugged so you don't get shocked and test with a non-contact electrical tester. Also check the hose connections at the machine are tight and have no leaks.

HI. i would advise to inspect all drainage hoses that are connected to the water pump inside the unit. One of the main causes of this type of leak will be a lose hose or, cracked pump housing. Check all hoses.

**(Note- The other areas will be the actual inlet valve assembly. Check the entire assembly for cracks and lose hose connections as well. If you find any fouled hoses, replace the affected hose asap.)

I would also inspect the outer tube for cracks and corrosion. this will happen over time, causing leaks of this nature. This is uncommon but, it can occur. Lastly, check the tube seal and bearings for trama. replace if nessecery...

There are hjoses on the inside of your machine that connect to the tub. The fill is turned on by a electrically controlled valve. When it opens, the tub fills and if the hose is cracked or the connection is loose, the water will spill out of the hose. You have to open the back up (I think that is how you get in there) and check the hose and the control valve. Does it only leak on the cold? Or does it leak on both?

try running the snake from the top to the bottom. they ell pressure hose ends that you inser into the pipe on the end of a hose and when you turn the water on it weslls and applies pressure to push out whatever is in there. they cost about 8.00 and you can buy them at lowes or home depot. just tell them what you need and that it screws onto the end of a hose for unclogging backed up drains. im not sure whats its called but they will know

Maybe it leaks from te heating element. Happends often on older Candy machines!
