Tricity Bendix tumble dryer does not heat and making rating noise as it goes round.

Many different scenarios that could cause it not to heat. Heating element, thermostats, breaker tripped, clogged vent, timer, motor, and maybe a few other things depending on design. Probably should get a service person out.

Fit belt on Tricity Bendix TM 220 W Tumble Dryer Drum stopped rotating but motor running and element heating up. Took back off and belt seemed to have slipped off. Trying to reattach belt but it seems too...

Check the belt routing over the idlers near the motor, there is a spring tensioner, also make sure idlers are smoothly rotating and not seized.

I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

My tricity bendix dryer TM 320W is heating up but it's takeing at least 3 full cycles to dry the clothes and the water tank is hardly ever full, whereas i had to empty it after ever few loads before. any...

check the condensor is clean.the most overlooked reason for this is failure of either the seals at the front and rear of the drum allowing the closed cicuit heated air and there condensing air mixing. check the seals its usually the rear one.

Replace a belt on a Tricity Bendix TM 320 W Tumble Dryer

1. remove top plastic panel (retaining screws are at back)
2. locate metal brace (12 incles long and 1/2 inch wide) on top of the cabinet (in mine it is on right edge)
3. unscrew retaining small bolts (there is one a few inches below on the inside of the cabinet too).
4. Repeat for left side.
5. push the back and front halves of the cabinet away from each other
6. slide the new belt around the front of the drum
7. reassemble
8. if you need to tension the belt wrap 10-20 turns of insulation tape around the idler pulley

Tumble dryer spins, but doesn't heat up

You need an ohm meter to do needed checks. Unplug dryer from power,,, then look for sensors and locate the heat coils. Using the ohm meter, check each device by connecting meter to the posts ( your looking for an open curcuit) Note that when you touch the leads of the ohm meter together, the gage will move? This is closed condition, and if the needle did not move, this is called "open". When you find a sensor or heat coil that reads open, that part is bad.
Now make sure there is not a tripped breaker in the fuse panel of the house,,, because even though the dryer is 220 volt,,, 110 volt runs the tumble motor while the other 110 volt curcuit runs the heat side ( so one will work without the other)

Dryer shorts out some of the electrics when its switched on!

The breaker in your breaker box is either weak and need to be replaced or the amps is too low. But from what you stated, you have had this dryer for awhile, so I'm assuming that its just a bad breaker. If the dryer still runs and doesn't have any issues when it dosn't pop the breaker, then this is what it is. Have an electrician come out and replace the breaker if you are not familiar with doing this.
