Hay i have a psp and i dont know wat happen i was up dataing and i had 2 leve an it did not turn off so i took the battery of it turn off like it has 2 do so the skreen dont turn on

Marco, It does sound however, that the battery took a **** at just the wrong time. It happens sometimes with no notice at all. Pull the battery and see if it's bulging in any way. The simple fix is to simply replace the battery. If this is the issue, it's fixed. If not, then you have a much bigger issue. With those generations of PSP's, the battery must maintain 3-5% charge to even turn on. You can't even update the firmware with out at least 20% in the battery! Frustrating, I know! ^^ Good luck, and I hope this helps.

The battery is done. To run it, just remove the battery, and run it off of the charger. That's what I did until I got a new battery.

take out the battery, put it back in and try charging it if that didnt work.

try leaving it in the charger and playing it, happened 2 mine ,once the battery is full take it out. if not then just take ot the battery for a while

the way 2 know if tis charging is wen u plug in ur charger 2 ur psp on da right a orange light should appear and stay ther eas long as its charging . wen it goes away it should be blank. if this doesnt happen on urs i dont know why. it should have come wiv a anual in ur psp box unless u have bought a used 1 from someone in dat case dey mite have not given 2 u for whatever reason. i hope dis helped=)

i dont believe this is a bricked issue. it cold be a short on the board or wiring some where inside. this noticable if it works after you lightly tap it like mine. but once it comes on it usally will stay on tapping a briked psp does nothing.

Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery.  Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light,  If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp.  If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment.  Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. it probably froze try and remove battery. if that dont work turn it on and wait a second then hold the power switch in the off position but do not let go until it turns off that should completey restart it.
