I cannot use my printer with windows 7 which drivers do I need?

Lexmark does not have Windows 7 drivers for the X73, the newest ones are for XP:

If your printer is not listed on Lexmark's web-site:

http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=OS3&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_CA

then either:

* the device-driver is included in Windows 7;
* Lexmark does not supply a device-driver for Windows 7.

windows 7 has two different versions on the format side and that is 64/32

Now if your running 64 bit chances are is your printer does not like the driver that came with it so you need to find a 64 bit driver or downgrade to 32 bit windows 7 operating system.

If windows is not recognizing the printer is there you may need to download a updated driver for the printer before it will work correctly.

you'll need to find out if your Lexmark software driver are alrteady supported by Window 7 OS. if not try to search for the driver for your printer that is already supported window 7

The drivers only go as high as windows xp for now. Hopefully since Windows 7 is coming out soon that they will have a driver available for it shortly.
