My Iron keeps tripping the fuse in main power box what is causing this it doesn't happen with any other appliances?

Tripping the breaker or fuse as you call it is caused by excessive current draw. These are safety devices that are meant to protect from electrical overloads and fires. More than likely your iron has a failing heating element and should be replaced. If it is a steam iron it is also possible that it has developed an internal water leak causing a short. Continued use is unwise and a potential safety hazard.

Where is the fuse locate on the WEP 32801 oven

Ovens don't normally have internal fuse, check your cooker switch on wall near to oven, they usually have a fuse. Otherwise check your fuse board / circuit breaker to see if the fuse or breacker has tripped

My elcs trips when i switch on the water motor. What could be the reason and how can I solve it. please

The water motor is drawing too much power, it has a fault or has got wet inside. The trip cuts the power to protect you and other people from getting electrocuted by the unit. You need to inspect and repair the pump or its controller while the power is off.

I have a Husqvarna extractor fans, the type with the motor on the roof. In seems to work fine on full power but not no the lower power settings. It also trips out when the light and extractor are on at...

The 'trip out' is where the unit draws more power than the breaker is rated for. Because it runs ok on full power (check they are running at full speed on this setting), the breaker is allowing enough power to reach the unit in this setting, so the breaker is fine. However when you switch on the light with the extractor it trips, at that point it is drawing too much power through the breaker at it trips to stop the device burning out. Check the connections to the unit are clean and dry and firmly made, if not power could leak away drawing more from the breaker. The next step is to measure how much power is being drawn by the unit in each mode, using an Ammeter in line with it. If you do not know how to do this (its dangerous if you get it wrong) ask an electrician to check the current draw in all modes.

Year old Symphony Winter evaporative cooler won't turn on, not even just the fan. Borrowed from friend, had to put on side to get in car.

Sounds like it's not getting power. Open it and check for an inline fuse or a reset button.Check the power cord for continuity first though, and make sure you're using a proven power outlet. It could be drawing too many amps, and tripping the circuit protection on that particular outlet.

What makes the bass1500 stay in Protection mode????

Ok, usually a fluctuation in amperage trips the protection on an amplifier. To start, check your ground. This is typically the problem. Use a multimeter to ensure that the ground you have is good. Second is the guage of wire. Look at the fuses on your amp. Add them together and use that as the amp draw total. 50-65 amps from 13 feet to 22 feet run of wire requires a 4 guage. If the draw is larger, you may need larger guage wire. Also, match the ground wire with the power wire in guage.

Trips thermal overload. power source ok. oil ok

Several things to check. Amp draw to be within number on plate, if amp draw not correct check capacitor, should be within 5% of rating on cap.. If amp draw about right and cap reads good suspect faulty breaker. If amp draw high and cap. good check for leak at in-tank check valve. With pressure in tank remove hose at check valve spray soapy water. If check valve good, suspect reed valves leaking. If reeds are leaking the compressor will take longer than normal to fill and the discharge tube/air will get very hot. It is recommended to note the amount of time it takes to fill tank when unit is new and compare this as unit wears. Length of time to fill is an indication of how well unit is working. A combination of leaky valves and leaking fittings as well as leaking checkvalve will cause motor to overheat.

Steam iron trips the main fuse

It could be your iron drawing too much current but it sounds more likely that you have a weak circuit breaker on that circuit. You might try the iron on a different house circuit to confirm if its actually the iron or the house breaker giving you problems.

Burnt out

internal failure possibly on power side, lower than 300A fault current so unit could not trip i/p protection and as fault was post ac section, continued to burn internally.
it just broke
no breakers tripped out so it kept drawing current until the fault burnt away.

maybe this is what happened, need to know a lot more info to change hypothisis
