The number one thing I have found with intermitent shutdown is the lamp door switch in the up position.
This series of models came back from the factory with the switch in the up position and it needs to be in the down position.
Take a flash light and look through the slots on the lower left side of the lamp door in the back of the set. If you can see the top of switch, then, thats whats causing your problem.
Take off the door, there is a tab that holds the switch down. Reseat the door and check the switch again with a flashlight. If it is down, then the problem is solved. If it is up, try again.
If you have anymore problems or questions, reply to this post and I will respond.

Thanks for taking my post. The switch you describe, and its the only switch that I can see, is in the middle. When I try to push the switch up or down, it just resets to the middle. Any suggestions? Thanks. [email protected]

I have a quanta 3082 MB in a HP Pavilion zd8230us laptop when I startup it beeps constantly got any ideas? anyone

The beeps with have a pattern to them. Listen closely when you first turn the laptop on and listen for the pattern. It might be something like 1-3-2 (1 beep, wait, 3 beeps in a row, wait, 2 beeps) It will repeat for listen for a bit to make sure you have the correct pattern. Once you have that pattern got to the HP webpage, in the support section, in the search type in "beep code errors". It will give you a list of beep patterns and tell you what the problem is. It could be the RAM, it could be another problem with the motherboard; those codes are what you need to have first.

Picture goes black with gray fuzzy lines ~ 1/2" apart horizontal.

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following
symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can
examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life
of your monitor or TV by several years.
Take it to a repair shop.

HP XW6200 randomly crashes with no apparent reason.

It can be the ram sockets. When it's new material, I'll advise you to go back where you bought your material so they can check under warranty.

Hi,

This is a typical symptom of a failing power supply. Replace your power supply and see if the problem still persists.

My subs keeps bumping in a rythme like pattern even with the volume turned all the way down

whatever signal output from your head unit to your sub amp, is in "pre" mode, or not in "sub" mode" which means the volume control on the head unit will not affect the subwoofer volume.

Frigidaire Range - Model #PLGFMZ98GC - Beeping

Turn or unplug from wall, let sit for five minutes then plug back in. If unit is ok and then in a day or two does it agin or starts beeping agin, then replace clock control. Common problem with this unit after about two years of use. Usually caused by defective touch pad or "endless loop" in programing code of micro-processor. One other problem, is if you had just used the self cleaning mode, then you may have a oven lock problem, doubtful though, clock control is majority of prob on these units.

Setting personalized ring

Its called distintive Ring. This is the instructions from the manual -

VERY IMPORTANT
If you have Voice Mail or a TAD (Telephone Answering Device) and want to keep
one of your phone numbers dedicated only to fax calls, you must leave the fax machine
in MANUAL mode at all times while using the distinctive ring feature. Here’s why:
Manual mode will never pick up a call by itself, since it is «Neutral ». When the fax
machine is in this « neutral » mode, the Distinctive Ring Feature can be activated. The
distinctive ring feature is actually an answering mode. So, do not activate FAX ONLY
mode or FAX /TEL mode while using distinctive ring; otherwise, the fax machine will
answer calls for all the numbers.
Registering the Distinctive Ring Pattern
1
Set the fax machine to MANUAL mode.
2 Press Menu/Set, 0, 1.
3 Press to select DISTINCTIVE:SET?, and then press Menu/Set.
4 Press to select the prestored ring pattern you want to assign, and then press
Menu/Set. (You will hear each pattern as you scroll through the four patterns.)
Be sure to choose the pattern assigned by the Telephone Company.
5 Press Stop/Exit.
