Can turn the tv on, no picture/sound. "Unusable Signal, Signal Strength 50" appears on the screen. About 5 months ago I had the ballast replaced along with the color wheel and the lamp. The wheel and lamp were not bad. I bought and replaced the lamp. I then had to call a repairman. He did the rest. Thanks for your suggestions.
YOU HAVE AN INTERNAL TUNER FAILURE IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED
you can try
THE DVI can use 720p signal but not component.
i think your getting 480p
what you need to do is go to your SM of your TV to calibrate it..
IF YOU CANNOT CALIBERATE YOUR SYSTEM OF YOUR SYSTEM DOES NOT HAVE SUCH A FUNCTION THEN YOUR INTERNAL TUNER HAS FAILED

Sounds as though your tuner module is not working or you have a lack of signal to the tuner. You need to be sure that the set hasn't been switched to a different mode ( ie: from tuner to video..etc ). If all is correct in that matter, are you using a satellite dish. If you are infact using a satellite dish, then the signal strength from the satellite is not suffecient. ( you may need to realign the dish ). If you are on a cable signal ( cable TV ) you may have a bad input cable and need to call the cable company to check their input line. If all is well with the signals coming in, then infact, you may a bad tuner module in the TV. Good Luck

Hello, you may find that it is the signal strength of your aerial / input signal? Have you checked the gain of the signal? If this is too low it could be the cause of the message.
Many thanks

Thanks. I had a feeling that was what was wrong. Do you know where I can get a service/repair manual?? Do you know what the tuner looks like or where it is inside??
The signal strength I'm going to say is good because all of my other tv's are working just fine.
I accedentially hit the "Accept" button under one of the problem solution suggestions. I could still use some help. Thanks
can you get cable on your RCA SCENIUM for free any way
I have the same problem. Only inputs still working are 4 and 5....and only the HD channels are still displaying on input 3. The cable strength is OK...has been checked. VCR, Wii and Xbox360 have been checked on other TVs and are OK. HELP!!!!
