Micra K13 Loud Noise at Higher Speeds

I've just bought a K13 Nissan Micra and it doesn't sound quite right. The noise I hear also seems to be coming from the back but it sounds like when you chop down a gear in a manual going down a hill and the engine revvs, well this is the noise I get in the automatic speeding up and slowing down, even just cruising at a steady speed. Any ideas people? Apart from this noise I love this car.

Husqvarna too slow when mowing

Some self-propelled mowers include a speed control, but sometimes it may seem that no matter how you adjust it, the mower just creeps along at a snail's pace. Most likely this isn't a mechanical malfunction, but an adjustment is probably needed.

Very tall or thick grass can bog down a self-propelled mower, but adjusting the height of the blade may allow it to roll through and cut the grass at normal speeds. If the blade is low, the amount of cutting required may slow down the movement of the entire mower. The frame of the mower may also stick in the high grass. Raise the blade little by little until the mower rolls at the appropriate speed. Going up hills may cause a similar response.

It's possible the drive belt on the mower can slip. Inspect this part to see if it is loose or cracked, and replace the belt to restore power.

I don't know if you have a hydrostatic or gear drive trans, but you should be able to go slower either by shifting to a lower gear or by moving the hydro drive lever to a slower speed. Always run the engine at full speed. Slowing the mower down by slowing the engine is extremely hard on the motor. It need the higher rpm's to keep it cool and not have to work as hard. There is a brake adjustment on the left rear axle. There is a brake disc with lever and a nut holding it on. Turn the nut clockwise about a half turn at a time to adjust the brake and check it. You don't want to get it too tight or it won't roll.

You have governor with a missing spring or it could be in the wrong place. If the springs are all OK then you may have a bad governor gear in the crankcase. This engine is bad about the governor gears bending the governor gear shaft.
