You have a triple aquastat that maintains a temperature level needed to provide hot water. but you are not getting the thermostat to operate the central heating. The thermostat is a switch that operates by temperature. if you have tried raising the thermostat and the system did nor kick in try jumping the thermostat terminals in the aquastat . if that works then the problem is either in the thermostat or the wiring to the thermostat. also with a electrical tester." while the thermostat is jumped" test the c1 and c2 terminals to see if power is going to the circulator. If not then you need a new aquastat. if you have power and the pump is not moving water replace it.
There seems to be a common fault with the relay in the base unit box that's wired in to the boiler. If the black triangle is showing, the remote is demanding heat. If the two lights (green and orange) on the base unit are both lit, then it is paired and knows that heat is being demanded by the remote. However the relay sticks and doesn't actually supply current to the boiler. It can also stick in the on position so the house just keeps getting hotter. I've found that a couple of firm taps with my knuckles on the front of the base unit usually solves the problem temporarily, but if it keeps happening I think you need a new base unit (although I think you can only buy the complete kit).
I found this on a search:
"I have the full set of instructions, contact me at [email protected] Not a very reliable system, transmitter keeps resetting to 17:25; locks up. Whole system then requires setting up from scratch. Had a replacement transmitter, no change, and same faults. GJB"
Perhaps this can help.
