If the leak is front and center under the machine, it may be a pump hose leak, but my guess is the impeller has worn through the pump case. Disconnect the power and prop the front of the machine up enough to see under the front. The pump is front and center, mounted on the front of the motor. Use a flashlight to inspect the front of the pump for a curved wear spot on the front of the pump case. If this is the problem and you want to fix it yourself, the pump is available from www.sears.com under the "parts direct" tab. If its just a hose, they are available there also. You'll need your model number, usually found at the back of the main case under the lid. If self fix is possible, here are directions to remove the outer case.

Disconnect the power cord. There is either two screws, one at each front corner, holding the control panel in place or hidden clips. 1. If you see the two screws remove them. If no screws are visible you have a clip at each front corner of the control panel. The best tool to use to unhook these clips is a putty knife. Push the putty knife between the machine top and the control panel at either outer corner. You will feel a spring tension. Push firmly, but not to forcefully toward the back. When the spring releases the corner will lift easily. Repeat at the other corner. 2. Now, if there was two screws holding the panel, remove the two screws at the top on the back of the control panel. If just clips, simply and carefully roll the control panel over the back. 3. Unplug the wire that connects the control panel to the machine top. Stop here and take note as to how the case connects to the back panel. There is an aligner there that will be your hardest part to deal with later. This will help when reassembling. 4. OK, Put a slotted screw driver into the clips at the back corners on the top and release them, once again take note to their positioning. The outer case hooks under the front of the frame and the sides have a slot that goes over a pin near the back of the frame side. (Front under, sides on top of frame)Tilt the case up on back and pull forward. Congrats you are there. Make needed repair and reassemble reversing procedure. Good luck.

When filling my Kenmore washer to begin a load of laundry the water enters the tub like it is going to wash but immediately drains onto the floor and the "water sensor" never tturns the water...

This either due to a detached "water sensor"/pressure switch hose or a broken drain/leaking drain pump. Disconnect power then remove the screws securing the console to the top of the machine. Pull the console forward then up and lay it back on the hinges. The screws are located at the rear of the console, front corners of the console, or at the front corners of the console under the end caps.

How do i replace the drain hose on a kenmore 700 washer?

If this is a Kenmore TOP LOADER washer, the drain hose(s) can be accessed for replacement by removing the exterior washer case. This is usually the standard practice for these washers as the back panel is not designed to come off. Tipping the washer backwards to access underneath is also not recommended, because the gearcase (transmission) contains oil. The oil can leak out through the breather hole on the top of the transmission, so these washers should remain in the upright position when servicing.

The following link explains how to remove the exterior washer case to access the washer interior components:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3631789-washer_case_removal_whirlpool_top

Once the washer case is removed, all the drain hoses are fully accessible and easy to remove and replace. There will be some residual water left in the lines, so you may need to lay down some old towels to keep the mess to a minimum. HINT: You can use a wet/dry shop vac and pull a vacuum on the drain line to remove excess water to prevent any cleanup.

If you have any questions about any procedures, please post back with your complete MODEL NUMBER (located on a nameplate along the wash tub rim under the washer lid) and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Kenmore70 series washer 110.26752502 leaks water while filling

If you have a leak on a TOP LOADER, the most common cause is a worn drain pump, leaking drain hoses or the hose to the air dome has come loose. You will need to remove the exterior case of the washer to be sure. DO NOT lay the washer on its back. The gearcase contains oil and it may leak through the breather hole.

The following link explains how to inspect a TOP LOADER for leaks:

If the drain pump is leaking, it is not serviceable and must be replaced, the following link explains how to replace one:

Water pours in on spin cycle

The first thing i would check is your boot around the door for a rip or tear. Also check the drain line for any types of leaks. You can also remove the bottom panel there will be three torx screws and you can look at your drain pump while in spin and drain cycle to see of the leak located in that area.

Hope this helps _MJ_

Pump leaking. can i replace it by removing the hoses and the two clips that are holding it to the motor?

Yes, this is a very simple repair. The following link explains step-by-step how to replace the pump on a Kenmore top loader:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r397092-replacing_water_pump

I post this only to give you a reference to work from. If you've already figured out how to access the pump, great. Now all you need to do is remove the drain hoses and the two retaining clips that hold the pump in place.

NOTE: To minimize any mess, you may want to use a wet/dry shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain line to remove any residual water that may remain in the drain line and tub.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this is helpful to you.

Will not fill with water goes right down the drain, works sometimes

Your drain line is too low or there is a air gap blockage.
Remove the drain line from the drain and hold it up high while filling with water and see if it fills and stops.
If so, correct the drain line problem. The drain hose should be 36 inches from the floor.

Water is coming out of the bottom of the washing machine

Tip the machine back and remove the 2 clips holding on the drain pump. Remove the hoses. Then turn the pump over to where the motor shaft enters it. There will be signs of water leaking out of the pump. Your local parts store will have the pump instock.
