Siemens Gigaset 504 AGU,, wireless lan is not active.. how to set it up???? anybody can help?

I have forget my wireless pass word and how do I recovery or change for new pass word?

Trying use Cold Reset, by manufacture settings.

Power up your modem, connect your computer to modem via lan cable (Ethernet cable)

open internet explorer on your computer.

type 192.168.254.254 and enter
click ok if there is any warning or advice displayed.

go to advance settings, click wireless network.
there you can enable wireless network by selecting "on".

you have to select channel to auto, given any ssid to display while you searching.
select ssid broadcast on to see while you searching. (if you didn't select then you have to remember your ssid, then through that name you can search from any wireless device, but better to keep on)

select transmission mode with mixed one for better performance on different devices.

you can decide how much long you want your signal to reach by adjusting the signal strength, I use 100%.

you are done for your query..

more over, you can set up an wifi password by clicking on encryption.

select wpa2-psk in security.
then give a 10 characters as your password.

save it.

better to go to reboot and click ok to reboot. otherwise power off your modem and switch on after 5 to 10 seconds...
