It sounds like it's way overdue for a rebuild. That includes orings and grease and maybe brushes. Hilti.com should get you either a parts breakdown or a phone number to Hilti to see if you can still get parts.

Old AEG stuff is like Bosch. Take it to a Bosch service center and they could probably match it up with a switch.

No one anymore. AEG was bought out by Atlas Copco which also owned Milwaukee, They were then bought out by T TI who owns Ryobi. Milwaukee quit furnishing AEG parts many years ago so finding parts will not be easy. Your best bet would be to replace it and move forward.

Parts are no longer available for the TE12. Be carefull if you try to take it apart yourself. Some of the older models had a lead based grease in them

If the unit no longer hammers it may be time for a service pack. (overhaul). You can get overhaul kits at any Bosch Authorized Service Center.
