This can be due to fault within the control panel output to the indication and buzzer. If the washer works without any issue and the cycles are correct, then it is best to remove the buzzer connections as the drive output transistor or IC could be intermittent and so works erratic.
I believe it means motor control unit failure. Make sure nothing is plugged into same circuit unplug unit for 10 min. and try again . If it still does not work you will need a tech
I have the same model - it displays 10 minutes and keeps beeping in series of 3 (beep beep beep...... beep beep beep... etc..) ran through a cycle successfully but kept beeping like that the whole time. I unplugged it for 10 minutes but had the same symptoms after plugging it back in. I unplugged it for 24 hours, and that seems to have cleared the problem up.
I have a top load Kenmore Gold Catalyst Cleaning Action washer that is stuck on permanent press mode. The digital display reads 8 min. and will not turn off or clear. When it is turned on the, the timer goes to 37 minutes and beeps repeatedly through all cycles. It will not clear even when I unplug it. How do I fix this annoying thing!!? Thoughts please.
its the power button its a common prob use a soldering iron and switch it with the load sinal button this happpens as the washer alallows moisture to get on the board as its not protected it will save u a ton of money and anyone can do it
have you tried lower spin speeds? I found with heavy items such as towels and jeans it is best to lower the spin speed. also washing like heavy items on a certain wash cycle is best - i.e. towels on bluky/bedding.
is it not draining. more than likely you need to clean your pump catch. take the bottom panel off you will see the catch untwist. lots and lots of water is going to come out be prepared
