its preety much plain and simple just buy an usb cable if its not included in the box and download sony ericsson pc suite then install it and search out for the thing called like moddem in the program im not sure how its named but its there i dont have the program now so i cant guide like step 1 go there and there sorry for not being much informative about this

you can download the pc suit in www.sonyericsson.com while search the model in this website and download free pcsuit for your cellphone and install to the computer.or you can install the w580i pcsuit software to install in the computer.and then you can connect the cellphone to the computer..........

If it just the one theme that says file corrupt, then you should choose another one or download the theme again.
If all themes say file corrupt when you try and select them, then you should update the software in your handset.
You can do this for free using the original Sony Ericsson datacable.
