Every time i get a signal, the phone freezes up. then it will lose signal and gain signal and do it again...

Unfortunately, there is no way to find a lock password of a phone. You can, however, factory reset the phone to use it again. You will lose all data, but gain functionality of the phone.

First Option:
Phone in the Other Sim and check the Phone Network Signal If Network Signal Problem not Solved So
Secend Option:
Your Phone Network IC Fault So Please change Network IC
And Network Signal Problem will Solved
if it is there isn't much you can do on this side of the network.
Contact your phone company.

I had a HTC 'rhyme' I believe it was called and had constant signal problems, like you I could only get signal again by rebooting the phone as well. I ended up sending it back and had a replacement from my contract. They claimed it was due to 'water damage' But It was like that from the start. Second phone was fine though.

Check your antenna direction (antennaweb.org or tvfool.com are good sources for signal direction). When I lose channels, it's a digital signal that came in with "bad signal" strength and my external antenna has rotated in the wind. (Oddly another TV in the house doesn't seem to lose the signal as easily even though they share an antenna.)

Also check the weather conditions and time of day. I've gained distant channels when scanning near sunrise or sunset and lost others during thunderstorms.

Have you fixed this problem yet?. I seem to have the same issue.

Are you sure there IS a signal all times? Especially when driving in cities with tall buildings or near transmission lines the signal may seem to 'disappear' and the screen freezes.

If your getting your signal via a satelite receiver or HD cable box, its likely that the sound dropouts and picture freeze are the result of marginal signal strength. Does the TV ever do this when using a DVD player? If not, its certainly the quality of the signal.

If the TV is at fault, the problem will be on the digital board.

i put a phone unblocker chip and the displayed in the sim one space on the screen emergency and now it doesnt function properly it reads the sim and shows the name of the carrier but then it loses the signal it says searching... then it reads it again and then loses it. when im using the menu or another function on the phone the touch screen turns off and then back on when i lose the signal and i have to start again with what ever i was doing. how can i fix this? please help.

The phone should not lose or gain time unless the time on the PBX that it is connected to is being changed. Sometimes the IP phone may lose connectivity to the PBX and the time may stall but when the connectivity is reestablished the time should update.
