After you enter the password wrong 3 times, the phone will ask for a puk code, to get this puk code call your phone service provider, only the owner of the sim card will be able to obtain the code from the service provider. There is no way of getting the puk code since it is a random number generated by your network operator when the sim card made for you. if you enter the puk code wrong too many times you will have to get a new sim card as the sim card will kill itself when the code has been entered wrong 10 times.

The best bet is to put your original sim (d880) , but don`t lock it.
Ring the supplier for this sim explain the situation and they will unlock it for you.
Your second sim will then work in your phone , no problem!

I haven't been able to do this yet. My phone is registered to T-mobile but I want to unblock it to use any network sim when I enter the unlock code provided by a friend it asks me for a sim password I have forgotten this password so it won't allow me to go any further.
If I put my sim in that shouldn't work it comes up phone freeze sim unavailable and I can't seem to go any further?
I have managed to enter the unlock code *2767*3855# after that my phone asks for a password and I have tried the default 12345 in the manual but it says incorrect sim password, what else can I do now
I have entered the 8 zeros without a space and a message still appears saying 'incorrect sim password' any other suggestions
