Your Bosch dishwasher can run a test cycle which will quickly go through each ... You can find a list of Bosch dishwasher error codes and their definitions here.

Open the door, look along the top stainless on the door and you should find the ENr number (model number) etched into the stainless, may need to give it a wipe and look at an angle to read it. Post the ENr and that should help with diagnosis.

Pull the open handle to open the latch up and try to get it to close. Disconnect the power to the machine for a few minutes. Run a cycle that you don't usually run. See if that helps.

twist a paperclip around some pliers so you have a circle opening. then hook the paperclip around the latch and pull outward with the pliers. once the latch is facing outwards the door should close again

The most common problem for a dishwasher to not restart after the door being closed is a failed door latch interlock switch. Adjusting / repairing it is not too difficult.

Of course this assumes that the Dishwasher power circuit from the circuit breaker remains powered up.

press sani and heat back and fourth then after all lights light close door and hit start then wait about 3 minutes. worked for me

if the door doesn't shut, the push buttons should not work. that way you are not running your d/w with the door open. check the door latch, as it seems to be malfunctioning. if the d/w still does not work, replace the door latch.

Pull the seal that is on the tank 1/2 way out then close the door. This will make sure the door is tight to the seal. This happens sometimes that the seal becomes flattened. I have been using this trick on Bosch dishwashers since this series came out in 1997.
