Nikon coolpix s7000 shows a black screen when wanting to take pictures. The battery is full, the camara is on, the shutter is open, but the screen is black.

I can only think there is something wrong with the camera or you have a cable plugged in.
If you have any cable attached to the camera. Something like a video feed cable the camera monitor will be shut off.

Laptop running Windows7 previously mounted Nikon D70 (camera) as Mass Storage Device but, stopped recognising it. Camera sees laptop?

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Windows Photo Gallery or Nikon Transfer.

How would i connect my jvc everio to my laptop for a live feed

Hi there,

To enable a live feed from your camera to a separate TV/Monitor, you will require either the special AV cable (3.5 Video/audio plug to 3 RCA), or an S-Video cable (as per diagram below):

How to use nikon coolpix S630 as webcamera

You can't. It completely lacks that facility; it's a digital stills camera only with some limited video recording functions. It cannot relay a live video feed to ant=y external devices.

How can i use the coolpix L11 as a web cam?

You can't. The L11 is designed as a camera, storing pictures and videos onto a memory card (or internal memory). It is not designed to feed live pictures and videos to a computer.

View Live Images?

You can't view live images on the monitor; the D2X does not have a Live View capability. A suitable version of Nikon Camera Control Pro may allow you to connect the D2X to a computer.

Viewing pictures on tv

This suggests a possible fault with the TV A/V circuit. You can check this of course by trying it out on another TV
