My toilet want fill up in the bowl..eventhough the water is filling up in the tank

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

Is the water filling up to the water line in your tank? Sometimes you have to adjust the level control in tank in order to get the level in the bowl you want.

The water level in the bowl is too low after flushing. Can I adjust it somehow to leave more water in the bowl?

Make sure the fill tube in the tank from the fill valve is in the overflow tibe inside tank. The tube allows bowl to fill with water to correct level.

My jacuzzi toilet doesnt fill with enought water in the bowl to remove waste from porcilin when flushing

Hi, W/D here.
Check the water level in the tank. The force to flush waste comes from there. Normally the fill line is cast into the back of the tank, but sometimes it is on the overflow tube. Raise the level if it is low.
Also, make sure that the tubing from the fill valve is connected to the over flow tube (the tall tube).
Best regards, --W/D--

The bowl will not hold water. This is the second toilet we tried because Kohler thought it may be a faulty tank but same problem. Everything works correctly in the tank but after flushing the bowl will...

the tube that goes from the fill valve to the fill tube may not be installed correctly. the water must be going in the tube and not the tank. also it is a water conserving toilet so it uses less water also it is a comfort height toilet and to make it taller the bowl is extended so the water may seem even more shallow.

Tiolet not flushing right. Water not coming down the side of the bowl when flushing and 90 percent of the water is gone from the bowl.

1- Check ports out under rim all round bowl.

2-Check tank fill level for required amount to with in 5/8" to top of over flow tube.

3-Make sure 1/4" fill tube is connected to over flow tube. From fill valve to overflow tube.

Below is a few details to go by I hope will be helpful for you to take care of this problem.

Under the rim of the bowl check the ports and make sure they are not stopped up. You can open them up with nail or pin to clean out ports.
Next check tank level and make sure the fill valve has a line run from it to top of the overflow tube. This line allows water to goe to bowl and tank to fill required amount needed.
Water in tank should be within 5/8" to top of over flow tube.

The water level in the toilet bowl is too low. Can I adjust the level, and if so, how?

Too little water in the toilet bowl to start with may be due to a lost or mis-connected fill tube that directs some water into the toilet tank standpipe (and thus into the bowl below), while the toilet tank is being re-filled. Check for that little tube.

Toilet bowl doesn't hold water but tank is full

The bowl is filled up with the little hose inside the tank, it locks inside of the overflow drain. And runs water in there as it flushes to swirl the water and fill the bowl. Water seeks it's own level, and the level in the bowl is at the top of the trap. It has to hold water, unless it isn't filling or it is leaking. Check out the filler and hope the bowl doesn't have a crack in it. Hope this helps.

Kohler Highline Class V tech toilet. Bowl does not fill. Why? What can I do to fix it?

Check tank for fill line running from fill valve to overflow tube. It will be a 1/4 " line that allows the tank and bowl to fill. It should be connected from fill valve and connected at the top of overflow by a clip or hanger.

Check out the water level in tank to make sure it is filling to line on overflow or within 5/8" to top of overflow pipe.
