As jimmyguru said.
1. Pull the crown to the second position (all the way out)
2. Push and hold the reset button and allow the chronograph hand to rotate near the 12 o'clock position.
3. Release the reset button.
4. Repeatedly push and release the reset button to find tune the hand position until it is right at 12 o'clock.
5. Push the crown back in.
TRY TO DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL FROM A SUPPORT SEIKO SITE.YOUR CALIBER IS 7T62.YOU MUST PULL OUT THE CROWN TO THE SECOND POSITION AND RESET THE CHRONO WITH THE TWO BUTTONS.
Pull the stem all the way out (two clicks). Press the upper button to change the zero-position of the stopwatch's second hand; press the lower button to change the zero-position of the minute hand. Reset the time by turning the stem. Push the stem back in. I hope this is clear!
(I couldn't figure this out until I read the replies by jimmyguru and aa member. Thank you both. I am adding the info info that each button sets a different hand of the stopwatch. Hold button in, to move the hand quickly; push it in briefly, to move the hand slowly.)
