The starter cord is spring loaded. When the spring breaks your cord won't rewind. Usually the whole starter cord assembly is easily replaced and readily available at your local gardening goods retailer. They might even install it for you for a nominal fee. I hope you find this solution helpful. Please rate it and thanks for using Fixya.

Hi im trying to fig out how to run this pw201. the instruc. r a little hard to get. is their an easy way to explain how to thread and bobbin thread this machine

Electronic sewing machines have a sensor that knows when you are winding. Just place the bobbin on the spindle and push it over until it locks for bobbin rewind. Place thread through one of the holes and allow the bobbin to turn. Now step on the gas and let it fill up.

Take your bobbin carrier out. Place bobbin in carrier so the thread is unwinding, counter clockwise usually. Place the thread under the little slit and pull it until it feels like it is under a pressure. To check for this pressure (tension) hold the thread carrier with thread under tension and gently bob. It should allow a small amount of thread to extend. If not then loosen the screw. If too much extends then tighten. Now, place the carrier and bobbin in the sewing machine and make sure the snap is heard when you place it in there. It has to be seated. I believe this is a electronic machine and you won\'t have anymore problems because it will do the rest of your needed things before you sew. HOPE IT HELPS

Bobbin rewinder won't work

it's possible that there is a part inside the machine that could be broken, it would be a good idea to have the machine checked.

My Juki HZL-E80 won't turn on

no, the light bulb won't cause the machine not to work, check the
power cord to see if it's plugged into the machine correctly, if it is
then the machine needs to be checked to see if it's the power
cord or the on off switch or the machine it's self

Bobbin will not rewind

SE270D. Lift the bobbin and reposition, making sure it is down against the pin.

If this is not the problem, a Sidewinder Bobbin Winder (auxiliary bobbin winder sold with most sewing notions) is a lot cheaper than taking the machine in for service.
