Check the alignment of the door with the top of the counter top. The latch must complete the locking feature in order to start the options like wash, rinse, and dry.
The heating element is turned on first during the main wash cycle, which could be approximately 10 minutes in. Since this error is coming up, the first thing to check/replace is the heating element.
I am only familiar with the LDF family of LG dishwashers and on them, to get to the heating element, you pull the dishwasher, invert the entire DW and remove the access panel.

The door frame is bent and will need to be inspected if further damage is done. It's possible to fix but if the dishwasher frame is bent, then it's a total loss. The frame is not repairable or are there any parts for it.
LG Dishwasher LD 1403W. We have cleaned it and when it gets to the heating cycle after running right through to nearly the end, it trips all the electricity and stops everything. Its only 3 years old and hubby thinks its the heating element but between $200=$300 to fix.
