I have a Samsung CLX-3160FN that reprints jobs all

I have a Samsung CLX-3160FN that re-prints jobs all by itself. Everything that I printed during the day is re-printed when I come in the office in the morning. The jobs are cleared from the queue when I leave for the evening but the printer is somehow retaining the jobs in memory and reprinting everything somtime in the night. ??? Wierd

SOURCE: Samsung CLX-3160FN prints and copies fine but can't scan

This may be obvious, but there's a "scanner lock" on this machine. It ships locked, and you need to unlock it when you receive it. Look up under where the paper comes out when you print, and on the left there's a little green switch. Make sure it's pulled towards you (you can see it also through the glass on the scanner bed).

Rather than turn printer off, unplug from power source, wait a few minutes and plug back in. It's worked twice for me so far...

SOURCE: CLX-3160FN Paper Jam when there

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

My Samsung CLX-3160FN has stopped printing colour. I have changed all the cartridges and it will copy in colour, but prints in black and white.

You need to check your document print settings on your PC. Drill through the printer properties menu until you get to the colour settings. At a guess you currently have it set to "Greyscale" rather than colour or auto.

Samsung clx-3160fn won't print

Usually I've seen that happen when you use generic toners. There are 4 toner clutches down the right side, with the right cover off you can see which clutch is doing the grinding. Many of the generics are overfilled and hard to turn and will make the noise until you loosen them by hand turning them til they loosen up, or just replacing.

Nope. I've tried everything. Feel lucky that yours doesn't jam 9 of 10 tries when copying (among other things). I'm going to take a baseball bat to mine.
