Clothes wet after spin cycle

The fast wash cycle is for a reduced capacity load of approximately 3kg , it does not pump or spin long enough for a full capacity load

Sounds like a small blockage in the outlet pipes, possibly just in the filter but check all outlet pipes. Just done one the other day and it was a clothes button that had passed out of the machine through the pump to the outlet pipe but had turned sideways inside the outlet pipe.

If the pump is clogged and can't release all the water it won't go into final high spin. Remove lower cover and locate coin catch and unscrew it. Water will come out, so be ready. If it's full of stuff, this is probably the problem.

the problem is your spin program is normal but the machine could not do its job usually there is broken pin clucth under the spinning tube and sometimes the spin gear.this is due to overlload problem. you should brought the machine to your trusted machine repairer as this cost you around US 100-200 in comparison if you buy new one

you have something stuck in the pump..a sock maybe or some other small article of clothing

Belt loose or motor / motor control board possibly defective

hotpoint machines are renowned for needing carbon brushes to be replaced in the motor they usually last between 12 months to 2 years depending on the amount of use the machine has.i would check these first as they are a common cause of hotpoints not spinning, if they are ok then check the pump and sump hoses for blockages (not emptying water out)

Hi Paul, Assuming it is pumping out ok, Unplug the machine tip it back at an angle, underneath you will see a black hose that is attached to the bottom of the drum, remove this, take out the ball and discard it and remove anything that may be in the filter, replace the hose and try the machine.
