Every time I turn on my sony digital handycam dcr-trv103, the display screen flashes C:31:42 on and off very rapidly. I assume it is an error code but the handycam will not work waiting for me to fix the "error"
I have tried changing the tape but with no success

C:31:42 indicates that you having a problem with capstan motor. It has to be replaced.
