I have a sing along cd player for my child, cant get cd to play?

These are funny little things.

Sometimes the door fails, so make sure it's fully & properly closed. It will not play CD-RWs (rewritable discs) & might not play CD-Rs either so make sure:

1. The batteries are fresh (high power alkaline), or better still, you are connected to the mains.
2. You are using a pre-recorded (shop bought CD)
3. Your unit isn't being moved or rocked. Although this looks like a "portable unit" it does not have any anti-shock or bufferring so moving the device around while trying to play a CD won't give great results.

Why would my AM/FM radio work only intermittently while the Satellite radio & CD player work normally?

Simple stuff really. Your antenna picks up analogue radio waves for ordinary radio (weaker signals drop out). Satellite signals come from above (way more reliable "direction" no obstacles and different bandwidth. CD player is different because it has it's data there already. So.............play a CD if your radio drops out. If your CD breaks along with the radio......sing ! I do it all the time (damn sight better than some rubbish on radio).... x

I just received a GPX JM250S Karaoke Party Machine. I have not tried a actual Karaoke CD yet. I plugged ipod in. Problem is- music is playing, then when I speak into mic music stops playing. There is no...

The music to sing along with apparently MUST come from a disk played on the unit. It appears that the external audio jacks are just to use the unit as either a boombox or to drive a larger sound system. You will have to convert your IPOD music into a Karaoke compatible CD to be able to sing along with it... They probably detect MIC input and mute any incoming signals from the RCA jack inputs,

Hi, i'm ner... my megapro mp200 dvd player will not read on videoke sing along but it will play a live concert, sometimes the videoe sing along songs will be read and played but after it is off then on...

you need to upgrade your megapro 200.... bring your megapro200 to a service center.

CD tray wont stay closed

Try using a CD cleaner. Generally this sort of problem occurs due to dust accumulating on the lens. The CD cleaner comes along with a solution.just spray on the CD and allow it to play in the CD drive. Sometimes the problem might even be due to a virus. Check whether your anti-virus is up to date.
