My blackberry pearl 8120 just went black out on monday i tried everything from removing the battery and the sikm card nothing works. i dont have a white screen or a flashing light the phone is plane dead. i tried charging the battery overnight nothing worked can someone please help me..

Instructions for unlocking Blackberry Pearl 8120

1. Ensure a SIM Card is inserted

2. Go to 'Manage Connections'

3. Click on 'Turn All Connections Off'

4. Go to 'Options'

5. Click on 'Advanced Options'

6. Click on 'SIM Card'

7. Type 'MEPPD' (letters will not appear on-screen but a menu will pop up.)

8. Type 'MEPP2' (*Note- for Telus, use MEPP4. You will be prompted to enter MEP code)

9. Enter the unlock code (CONFIRM you get "Code Accepted" message)

10. Reboot device

11. Go to 'Manage Connections'

12. Click on 'Restore Connections'

13. Device is now unlocked

On the Status screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, the File Free field indicates low ,if the device memory is full then these things will happen on your device,so to never have this problem delete unwanted applications.To delete run desktop manager and select application loader,select the applications that are not frequently used and remove them.Also keep the messages for a month or two because these mails will be there in your mail box.

My 8120 blackberry pearl keeps freezing and losing / deleating texts

you might need to try pulling the battery every once in a while. or getting rid of apps you don't use on your bb. or you could try getting an SD memory card because 9 time out of 10 its memory problems that make your phone freeze. good luck hope i helped :)

The battery on my blackberry 8310 went dead. I

ok so what u basically do is just keep the charger in the usb port. then take the battery out then plug it back in. this totally works!

Mine was doing the same thing. I called ATT and was told to remove and reinstall the battery and the sim card making sure the sim was in tightly. once i done this it hasn't happened again
